franÇOIS PIACENTE

My passion for story-telling and the car culture started when I was a kid in Belgium. I liked transforming ordinary toys into something extraordinary, weaving imaginative tales by combining elements from my surroundings with random supplies. As I grew older, my creative pursuits evolved, leading me to write fantasy stories and complementing the narratives with instrumentals that I would create on my computer.

In 2015, I relocated to New York City and worked in various fields, ranging from advertising to hospitality. During this time, I was inspired by the perfect imperfections I saw around me while strolling through the city. I always observed, absorbed, and kept taking mental screenshots for future references. I was finally able to utilize all these ideas when I randomly stumbled upon a model car kit, it was the perfect opportunity to merge all the inspiration I took in NYC with my story-telling skills.

After building the model, I decided to elevate it by constructing a diorama around it. These dioramas allowed me to capture realistic photos and play with perspectives, turning my creations into an immersive visual narrative. THAT WAS IT!!! I’ve found my purpose, my way to fully express myself and empty my mind by creating stories in miniatures.

My work and attention to details quickly caught the attention from people online. It started with other model car builders and slowly transitioned to car enthusiasts as well as artists from all kind of mediums.

Over the years, genuine connections with people online provided the credibility and trust that eventually transformed my hobby into a thriving business.

From that point, my talent has opened doors to work on many commissions as well as building unique, fictional creations bought by collectors from everywhere.

I'm always eager to know what my next commission work will be, how I can incorporate all these ideas constantly running in my head into the next project. I welcome the opportunity to discuss and collaborate on your unique miniature art piece, so feel free to reach out and let's bring your vision to life.
